The Opportunity
We are hiring for a Portuguese speaking Business Development Executive to join a global manufacturing and export company based in Birmingham. In this exciting role, you will work with clients and distributors from Brazil, driving new business and building long-term commercial partnerships.
Job Responsibilities of the Portuguese speaking Business Development Executive
- Develop new business opportunities across Brazil
- Identify new sales prospects: markets, clients, projects and accreditations
- Manage the full sales cycle — from enquiry and lead generation through to order negotiation and shipment
- Maintain relationships through regular calls, emails, MS Teams meetings and quarterly international visits or exhibitions
- Manage and develop underperforming accounts within Brazil
- Create daily call plans and consistently meet sales KPIs
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer service
Candidate Profile
- Fluency in Portuguese (Brazilian) and English
- Experience in Business Development, Sales Executive or Account Management
- Proven B2B sales experience relating to Brazil
- Ideally educated to Degree / HND level or equivalent
- Strong negotiation, communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated, resilient, tenacious and results-driven
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive base salary: £33,000 – £38,000 + commission (£50,000 ote)
