Monarch Education are working with a secondary school in B27, to seek a dedicated specialist in the field of Design and Technology, Qualified Teacher of Food. This role is full time, starting from January 2025 and is a long term ongoing role.
We are in search of candidates who possess the confidence to immerse themselves in school life, along with the fervour to impart their subject expertise to students. As a successful candidate, you will need to:
- Hold a teaching qualification or boast substantial teaching experience within the realm of Design and Technology.
- Demonstrate the capacity to seamlessly adapt your teaching style to accommodate the diverse needs of students in the classroom.
- Exhibit adept behaviour management skills and the self-assurance to effectively lead a class.
- Offer specialised skills including flexibility, adaptability, confidence, strong interpersonal abilities, and an affinity for working with young individuals.
Your role will encompass:
- Crafting and delivering captivating lessons that engage students.
- Devoting yourself to enhancing academic standards and elevating student achievement.
- Demonstrating commitment to ongoing assessment of student progress.
- Collaborating closely with the Design and Technology department to support students' academic growth.
