Our significant growth has led us to investing further across our Sales division to increase revenue, partnerships with our customers and in turn grow our product portfolio further.
As a Sales and Growth Specialist, you will play a pivotal role at The Fuel Store by proactively driving business growth through outbound cold sales calls and early account management.
Your primary responsibilities will include identifying, prospecting, cold-calling and initiating meaningful connections with potential clients. Engaging in persuasive communication to promote our products and services across fleet management, alongside the ability to pipeline and forecast will be a key metric.
Once an account is secured, you will be responsible for nurturing and managing these accounts during the early life management cycle, ensuring exceptional customer service and cultivating long-term relationships. Your ability to understand client needs, provide tailored solutions, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets will be critical to your success.
Brief Overview:
Permanent Opportunity: Full Time
Basic Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 Dependent on experience
Commission Structure: Uncapped (Realistic Total Package OTE: £35,000 - £42,000)

Requirements
- Conducting outbound calls to potential customers and identifying customer needs in order to provide appropriate solutions based on our product portfolio
- Upselling our product portfolio to maximise sales on our new customers where applicable
- Manage acquired accounts during the early life management cycle.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to maintain client satisfaction.
- Generating new business leads by promoting The Fuel Store as a brand and understanding our offering
- Understand client needs and requirements to offer tailored solutions.
- Cultivate consultative long-term relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of potential customers
- Utilizing our CRM systems to record and track customer interactions
- Achieving and exceeding KPIs in correlation with business needs
- Maintaining a high standard within your calls, focussing on passing compliance and quality checks on a monthly basis
To have the ability to contribute to The Fuel Store’s success, you will need:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a Sales role (Telesales, Door to door, Recruitment)
- Ability to work to a high volume and manage your own diary effectively
- The ability to learn quickly and take in complex information
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes
- Familiarity with the Oil/Gas/Energy or Fuel industries
As well as having the right experience, a Fueller will have:
